The innovative charging port offers an impressive charging power of up to 22 kW, which can be manually adjusted between 2.3 kW and 22 kW to meet the needs of different electric vehicles. The charging status is controlled and monitored conveniently via an app that enables easy management.
The charging station is designed for use with a 32A CEE socket, also known as a “large industrial plug”, ensuring wide compatibility with various electric vehicles.
Smart charging modes allow users to shift charging of their vehicles to cost-effective and sustainable off-peak times, which not only benefits the grid but can also provide financial benefits. An integrated energy meter also allows users to accurately measure power consumption and thus receive a detailed overview of their charging processes and the associated energy consumption.

Nutzt NeoGrid® AI bidirektionales Laden bzw. Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G)?
Beim bidirektionalen Laden bzw. V2G wird Strom aus deinem E-Auto wieder ins Netz eingespeist.
NeoGrid® AI macht das nicht: Statt dein E-Auto physisch zu entladen, macht unser virtuelles Kraftwerk das nur „virtuell”. Der für deinen Ladevorgang reservierte Strom wird virtuell verkauft und dem Netz zurückgegeben.
Das hat mehrere Vorteile gegenüber bidirektionalem Laden bzw. V2G:
- Du benötigst keine spezielle Wallbox
- (Fast) alle E-Autos sind bereits heute kompatibel, entweder direkt oder über eine Wallbox.
- Da der Strom gar nicht erst ins Haus gelangt, zahlst du keine Netzentgelte auf den verkauften Strom. So erhältst du einen höheren Ertrag.
What does "netzdienlich" mean?
The generation of electricity and the consumption of electricity in the power grid must always be in balance in order to ensure a constant grid frequency (50 Hertz in Europe).
However, challenges such as the weather-dependent feed-in of renewable energies and the increasing consumption of electric cars, heat pumps, etc. are making this increasingly difficult.
NeoGrid® AI provides the grid with the necessary flexibility to compensate for fluctuations. This supports the grid and you earn money in the process.
Will charging with NeoGrid® AI damage my battery?
In short: No.
Studies have proven that charging your electric car battery with NeoGrid® AI does not cause any harm, as long as you follow the same precautions as with normal charging.
- Depth of charge: Don't charge too much at once. Set your charging target sensibly in the Ostrom app.
- Charging goal : Charge enough so that you don't go below 20% on your next trip, but never more than 80%.
- Temperature: To protect your electric car from heat and cold, you should park it in a sheltered location, such as a garage, for charging.
- Charging speed: Charge at home (e.g. 11 kW or 22 kW overnight) and only use fast charging stations when you really need them.

Can I use PV surplus charging AND NeoGrid® AI?
Unfortunately, surplus charging is not yet compatible with NeoGrid® AI.
However, you can use both functions separately. Charge during the day with free solar power and let NeoGrid® AI handle the charging process at night.
You can decide at any time whether you want to use NeoGrid® AI.
Die App-Steuerung ist ein echtes Highlight. Ich kann ganz bequem vom Sofa aus den Ladevorgang starten, Zeiten einstellen oder sehen, wie viel Strom mein Auto gerade zieht. Besonders gefällt mir das Lastmanagement und die Möglichkeit, den Charger in ein bestehendes Smart-Home-System zu integrieren. Für Technikliebhaber ein Traum! Auch optisch macht der Gemini Flex was her – schlicht, aber hochwertig verarbeitet. Und weil er offen für viele Fahrzeugtypen ist, ist er auch zukunftssicher, falls man mal das Auto wechselt. Der Preis ist nicht gerade ein Schnäppchen, aber angesichts der Ausstattung und Qualität finde ich ihn absolut gerechtfertigt.
