The principle behind the AeroFlow® surface storage heater is based on an innovative design that uses the internal firebrick as its heart. Unlike conventional electric heaters, where the steel casing is heated, our heating conductors heat the firebrick directly. This heat is efficiently released into the room via the slats above. The radiator sucks in cold air from below, heats it and releases it again at the top, which creates optimal convection heat.
As soon as the desired room temperature, which you set via the thermostat, is reached, the radiator switches off automatically. The firebrick continues to give off heat without consuming additional electricity. This direct radiant heat, combined with convection and heat emission without a permanent power supply, ensures a longer heat duration, supported by the slats and the storage stone.
Our special manufacturing process optimizes the heat transfer from the heating stones to the housing. This allows the radiator to heat up particularly quickly and evenly. In addition, the flow-optimized, ribbed surface of the AeroFlow® electric heater emits more radiant heat than devices with flat surfaces. These properties ensure pleasant room temperatures and help save energy costs. Our designed slats heat up quickly and evenly without stirring up dust, and the firebrick stores the heat particularly well to keep the temperature of the radiator constant for a long time without having to reheat.
Another feature of our surface storage heater is the separate heating zone technology. Under normal circumstances, more heat is generated in the upper area of a heater, which leads to uneven heat distribution. To prevent this, the AeroFlow® surface storage heater has separate heating zones at the top and bottom with different wattages. This ensures even heat distribution in the room.
